Here is your chance to learn about that sport where girls & boys use a weird looking curved stick to hit a ball. Field hockey is a rapidly growing sport in Connecticut and its finally made its way to Milford! This is a great opportunity to expose your daughter or son to a new sport in a fun filled week. During camp we will start by going over all the basics to build a solid foundation for the future! From passing and receiving to shooting and defense, we will cover it all. The day will be split with time spent on drills as well as small games. You will need a mouth guard, shin guards and a stick. New player packages contains everything you need plus a ball will be available for purchase upon registration!


General Information
  • Fee: $155.00 per session
  • Optional New Equipment Package: $50 includes stick, ball, mouth guard and shin guards
  • Boys are welcome

Camp Staff
Kati Cavanagh
A native of Norwalk Connecticut and got her start in Field Hockey in 9th grade. She went on to play at UConn where the Huskies earned 4 Big East Regular season titles as well as 3 tournament championships and 3 NCAA appearances. After graduating Kati spent 3 years coaching at Western Connecticut before deciding to pursue officiating on the college level. Last year she officiated the D2 Final Four. She has been the Head Coach of Lauralton Hall for the past 3 years where the Crusaders have enjoyed 2 conference titles and a trip to the state championship.
